Poway/Del Norte Invitational Field Tournament (held @ Del Norte High School)

9:00 Rehearsal in RBHS stadium
11:15 Rehearsal ends
● Large instruments drop off your instrument at semi as soon as rehearsal ends
11:30 Meal Break
● Bring food to eat during this break or have your parents drop off food to you
12:30 Report to breezeway between band room and PAC while buses arrive on campus
● Band wearing full “under uniform” uniform and RBRR embroidered jacket
● Guard in show black, guard jacket, make up & hair finished, uniform and flag bag in hand
● Smaller instruments (Clarinets and Flutes) take instruments with you on bus
● Remember to bring a DISPOSABLE bottle of water for warm up
● You can bring a separate water bottle that will keep you hydrated throughout the night
12:45 Load buses
● No food or drinks consumption (other than water) allowed on bus
● Any snacks must be stored in a sealed bag due to students with food allergies
● Please wait for a chaperone to check you in before loading the bus
o Bus 1 – Trumpets, Trombones
o Bus 2 – Flutes, Percussion
o Bus 3 – Clarinets, Euphoniums, Tubas
o Bus 4 – Saxes, Horns
o Bus 5 - Guard
• Leave front two rows empty for chaperones – every seat will be taken on the bus
1:00 Depart for Del Norte HS
1:30 Arrive at Del Norte HS, park, and unload, restroom break, stretch
2:00 Band change into uniforms and guard head to warm up and change after warm up
2:30 Band enters campus for warm up
3:15 Royal Regiment heads to stadium
3:30 Staging
3:45 Royal Regiment performs Warhol (performing group line up)
4:00 Change out of uniform
● Dress Code for awards - RBRR Black Embroidered Jacket/Guard Jacket
4:30 Walk to the awards ceremony
4:45 Awards
● If the awards ceremony is in progress when you return, please enter quietly
5:15 Awards ceremony ends, load busses, depart
● You must have a note on file prior to leaving campus, or have a parent sign you out with
your chaperone at the competition, if you are not returning to school with the group
5:30 Depart Del Norte HS for RBHS
5:45 Arrive back to RBHS
